Fill the cooker with 3/4 volume water and add lemon slices to it. Close the pan with lid and turn it on.Make sure to get one whistle and turn it off. This should clean right away. Contributor:Nirupama, Roopa.

just a lil bit updated than what nirupama and roopa said.
while cooking itself, u can add lemon slices, spread around inside the cooker, pour water, and keep the dal bowl etc., close the lid and cook as u do regularly.
by the time, u finish ur dal, ur cooker will also gets cleaned inside.
